Swiss WWI Longines hand wind Trench Watch in a silver case with London import hallmark for c1918, on a black leather strap with silvered buckle. Screw down bezel and case back with swivel lugs and white enamel dial with black luminous insert Arabic hours and matching hands with subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o/c. Swiss made Longines calibre 13.34 15 jewel jewelled lever movement with overcoil hairspring and split bi-metallic balance. The case back by 'AB' and stamped 'SWISS' and numbered 3590323.

Case diameter - 35mm, strap fitting - 12mm.

Longines was founded in Saint-Imier Switzerland In 1832 by Augustine Agassiz, it was originally known as Raigel Jeune & Co. Its first factory started production in 1867 in Southern Saint-Imier known locally as Les Longines, so the name Longines for watches was born.
