Swiss Ernest Borel manual wind 30 minute recording chronograph in a chrome plated case with stainless steel back on a black leather strap with silvered buckle. Signed silvered dial with outer seconds track and inner telemetre Km track with numeric hours and blued steel luminous hours and minute hands with subsidiary seconds dial at 9 o/c. The 30 minute chronograph recording started, stopped and reset by the side buttons and displayed via the minutes sub-dial at 3 o/c and the red sweep seconds hand. Signed case back numbered 200073 704002 over a Swiss made Ernest Borel signed Valjoux 23 17 jewel jewelled lever chronograph movement.

Ernest Borel is a watch manufacturer founded in 1856 in Neuchatel, Switzerland.The company was run by the Borel family until 1975 when, owing to the 'Quartz crisis' affecting the entire Swiss watchmaking industry, it was sold on and became a member of the Synchron Group which consisted also of Cyma and Doxa.
