Drum shaped round topped walnut case over a decorated walnut plinth base. Gilt brass bezel with flat chamfered glass over a white dial with black Roman hours and black steel breguet style moon hands. French brass, spring driven, pendulum regulated dead beat 'tic tac' movement signed 'V.A.P' with original set-up and going instructions still in place inside the movement back cover.
